How All This Started

The COVID-19 Pandemic and ensuing Movement Control Order (“MCO”) had hit us hard when it took us by surprise in early 2020. In figuring out what could be done to address the stress of confinement, disruption to and loss of income to community members, while extending a helping hand to those in need – we got together and created a handful of “local items” that would resonate with our immediate community. Hence, the birth of “#BarangTTDI” – which started with a somewhat silly hand-crafted board game featuring popular locations within the neighbourhood!

We humbly welcome you to the “#BarangTTDI Community Page & Store” featuring products made by the merry folks of Taman Tun Dr. Ismail, 60000 KL! Proudly celebrate your “Taman Tun-ness” with these custom-created items ranging from T-shirts, tote bags, keychains, that “Taman Tun Specific Board Game” (with expansion packs!), coffee mugs, and more! New items will be coming soon so please stay tuned! #BarangTTDI goods are not just for Taman Tun/TTDI residents, but are meant for everyone to enjoy 🙂

Every Little Bit Helps

The purchase of #BarangTTDI items will help those in need! Profits from the sales of #BarangTTDI items are channeled to charity, specifcally to Pertubuhan Pendidikan Anak-Anak Yatim Selangor (Rumah Bakti Dato’ Harun) at KM11, Jalan Hulu Kelang, 68000 Ampang, Selangor.

As items are custom-made and hand-crafted, please kindly grant us about a week for production and delivery. Many times, we manage to fulfill orders earlier! We try our best to source materials and parts required locally within the community!

For Taman Tun/TTDI residents, you can opt to either have these items picked up at our weekend pop-ups right in front of the community’s favourite stationery and book shop Jasema Enterprise, or have them delivered to your home free of charge!
