Armada Series – MACs Aurora, ECM-45

Description

The MAC Carrier Defense Weapons Platform or CDW-45, began life as a carrier defense asset. When it became obsolete overnight (due to more advanced ships from UNE and MAC), the MAC Fleet Quartermaster and Logistics Department began planning for immediate upgrades for the obsolete CDW ; its avionics, sophisticated countermeasure equipment and upgraded active armour at the MAC Naval yards.

The CDW was redesignated as Electronic CounterMeasure vessels for Fleet Defense, ECM-45. The most famous of these vessels is the MACs Aurora which saw excellent service throughout the UNE-MAC Engagements by the supporting protective umbrella around the fleet but also executed offensive signal-jamming capability to assist fleet offensive operations.
