The Story Begins

Sik Short Story is about a mysterious, lethal outbreak is first discovered in Sik, Malay Peninsular, in the 1950s. A strange illness erupts on Mars more than a century later. Are they related? Sik takes you through the 1950’s through the end of the 21st century.  Multiple incidences points to the eventual ‘maturity’ of the pandemic.  The spread continues from Earth into the Solar system without the knowledge of the population.  The mystery makes you question the origin of this disease from the 1950’s. Did it naturally occur? Was it created? What was the motive and how will it be stopped. How will the characters tackle this pandemic and control the rampant spread.  Will more lives be lost?

Description

This presents the expansion of the story which started as a Microstory.  The Microstory began with 500 words per issue.  The Ministory continued the story with 1000 words.  Sik expands with the  completion of a 10000 word short story.  It uses 48 pages of an A5 sized fully glossy and coloured pages.  Illustrations show the nuances of the mystery. This also creates the ambiance of the scenes to allow the reader’s imagination to come through.
